Man I just love this song by Ani Difranco entitled 32 Flavors because I think I’m more than what meets the eye, it just depends on how much you care to see. I am twenty two flavors and even more.

 

By the way I am Lutykuh and aside from Lutykuh I so happen to own a more presentable non-alien sounding name, and that is Dianne (sounds normal, right?), you can also call me yengyeng or yan too (those are my pet names at home). I was born on a certain month on the 23rd day of it, at La Ciudad de Zamboanga (Zamboanga City) or also known as Asia’s Latin City which is located down south of the Philippines (we’ll talk about my city later, I’ll write  about it).

 I have a regular extended family, my dad is a college professor who is a former seaman and my mom is a plain housewife. I’m the middle child and the unica hija or only daughter of the family, but that wasn’t for long, why? I’ll tell you later. By the way I have two brothers, the older one is beautiful and the younger one is cute, too young to be handsome (in my opinion, ok? hehehe). My older brother is gay, and he happens to be a beautiful gay, no kidding! (And I guess that answers the question, right?). And my younger brother is some kind of a war child, he is anti social, actually he just joined two fraternities, can you believe that? but he quitted the first one. My brothers are the of the exact opposite of each other but I love them both. My uncle lives with us too, and he’s pretty much of a character because he talks too much for a man.  And that’s my family so unique and happy!  Well enough about my family, let’s talk about my educational foundation. I took up my primary education at Don Gregorio Evangelista Memorial School. I enjoyed my childhood at that school. I joined lots of extra curricular activities which enhanced my talents and skills like drawing, singing and a little dancing and writing. 

 When it was time for me to pick a school of my choice for my secondary education I chose Claret School of Zamboanga City a catholic school. I had great classmates, we were so close even until now, as evidenced by frequent reunions and get togethers.

 

 And lastly my recent tertiary education was spent at Western Mindanao State University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, batch Sui Generis. We did a lot of crazy stuff in college and I will never trade any of my memories even for a million dollars (a million and one dollars will do, hehehe).

 

 This time lets more talk about my hobbies and interest, favorite books and all of those stuffs. And it’s all written in bullet form so it won’t be too boring to read.

 

 

Interests:

 

I enjoy surfing the net, watching youtube videos, watching TV, reading, hanging out with my friends and family, socializing, making new friends, outing, photography, self photography, sketching, drawing, painting, listening to music from different countries and type of genres such as Alternative, Rock, Emo, Pop, R&B, Hiphop, Classic, Jazz, and Reggae, watching Japanese animation, reading and researching about interesting individuals (like Jun Matsumoto, Hikaru Utada, Amuro Namie, Mika Nakashima, Koda Kumi, Jang Eun Gok, Wu Chen, Queen Amidala and her costumes, Johnny Depp & Paris Hilton), appreciating great entertainers and true warriors of art like Geisha’s and Kisaeng’s, dreaming of wearing kimono’s, hanbok’s, Victorian wardrobes, Anglo- Saxon gowns, couture outfits, gothic Lolita dresses with matching intricate hairstyles and appropriate foot wears, collecting books, interior designing, animals, and Alice in Wonderland.

 

Favorite Music:

Music is my life it runs in my veins, it is like oxygen, it gives life to every single cell in my body. Without it in a day I’d be cyanotic without it in more than a day you’ll find my body in rigor mortis, for short I just can’t live without it!!! And aside from some of those bands and artists that i have mentioned (that means there’s a lot more!) I also love listening to some oldies and oh not to forget those divaliscious torch songs. I love listening to oldies but goodies songs cause their really soothing and classy. Those divaliscious songs inspire me to belt my voice just like Patti Labelle, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion (ehehe), Whitney Houston, Regine Velasquez (you pretty much get the point right?). But don’t get me wrong; please don’t think I’m such a singer or what, because I’m not! (definitely!). Only the four walls of our bathroom know that I sing, and I pity it for it is the sole witness of how bad I am.

 

TV Shows: 

 

Back then, when my life was simpler, I used to enjoy TV very much but when I learned about youtube, it changed my habit of being a lazy couch potato sitting in front of the TV into a lazy chair sitting potato in front of the computer!!! What great change! (see?) I became so lax about the TV shows that I have been following for I know it will be in youtube or in DVD’s (don’t get me started with those god sent DVD’s) and those are the reasons why I seldom get the opportunity to watch. Anyway here’s some of my old time faves: Heroes, Nick Toon’s such as; Invader Zim, Sponge Bob Squarepants, the Rugrats, All Grown Up, As Told by Ginger, Dora the Explorer (yes, I do watch it, hihihihi), Hey Arnold and the like, America’s Got Talent, Extreme Makeover, the Oprah Winfrey Show, National Geographic, Will & Grace, Living with Fran, Tru Calling, Ghost Whisperer, Ugly Betty, Betty la Fea, Letty la Mas Fea, Two & a Half Men, Desperate Housewives, Kimi Wa Petto, Hana Yori Dango, Pinoy Big Brother, Bleach, Gokusen, Hana Kimi (Taiwanese version).

Movies:
I love all sorts of movies from epic, horror, comedy, romance etc. Here are some of my all time favorites:
